Welcome to the Dyfed Road Surgery website.

You can find information about the surgery, the staff that work here, the services we offer and also any current job vacancies.

You can find out about making appointments, and what to do if there is a medical emergency, or if someone is unwell outside our normal opening hours.

For advice on minor illnesses, please choose "links" from the menu on the left-hand side as this section will give you a link to Patient UK and NHS Direct.

To find your way around the site, use the blue bar on the side of this page, or click the underlined text links (blue text).

About the Surgery

We are one of Neath's most established medical practices, and we moved to the present surgery in 1974.  The premises have suitable means of access for people with disabilities.  The surgery is a training practice and we currently have a GP registrar (a qualified doctor training for general practice as part of the Neath Port Talbot Scheme).  We may also have medical students with us from time to time.  You can see a map of the area here (opens in a new window - streetmap.co.uk)

Opening Hours

The surgery is closed on weekends and bank holidays.

* Please note, the reception desk is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6.00pm*
