About the Surgery
We are one of Neath's most established medical practices, and we moved to the present surgery in 1974. The premises have suitable means of access for people with disabilities. The surgery is a training practice and we currently have a GP registrar (a qualified doctor training for general practice as part of the Neath Port Talbot Scheme). We may also have medical students with us from time to time. You can see a map of the area here (opens in a new window - streetmap.co.uk)
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:30 (excluding bank holidays and staff training)
The surgery is closed on weekends and bank holidays.
* Please note, the reception desk is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6.00pm*
GP Out Of Hours Service
For Out of Hours emergencies, telephone 111
(if you need to contact OOH when the surgery is closed for GP/Staff training, please telephone the surgery on 01639 635331 and follow the instructions on our answering machine)
Please note that the Out of Hours service is for problems that cannot wait until the surgery is next open.
It is available Monday to Friday 18:30 - 08:00, weekends and bank holidays.
Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board are responsible for the delivery of this service.
From time to time the practice will take part in voluntary assessments of the quality of the care we provide.

The assessments involve direct inspection of patients records. The inspecting team will be other Doctors and will have a duty of confidentiality and no personal information will be passed on by any member of the assessment team.
You have a right to object and if you wish to do so, you should tell a member of the practice staff. Your objection will be respected and the care you receive will not be affected in any way.
